  • Ramen noodles with additional: The shallots add color and a little sweetness to the sesame ramen noodles. Chopped carrots, a bag of coleslaw, peas, baby corn, chopped water chestnuts, kale and chopped peanuts also fit the authentic noodle house style.

Sesame Ramen Noodles are a quick and delicious recipe made with fresh ginger, garlic and savory hot sauce – perfect for a cozy evening!

  • Boil the ramen noodles for 3 minutes or just until tender and drain. Don’t overcook.

  • In a small bowl, cook the noodles, stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, red pepper, water and rice vinegar. Set aside.

  • In a 10-inch skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add green onion to ginger, garlic and white. Cook until fragrant, 1-2 minutes.

  • Add remaining seasoning ingredients and ½ of remaining green onion. Cook on slow heat for 1 minute.

  • Stir the ramen and cook for 1-2 minutes or until heated. Left green onions and sesame seeds on top.

  • Vegetables are very added to this recipe. Just stir the potato chips or other favorite vegetables before adding the sauce.
  • The remaining protein can be added to make it a full meal.
  • Ramen noodles can be replaced with any other thin noodles in equal amounts.
  • Place the remaining ramen noodles in the airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days and last for 4 months in the refrigerator.
